In processing your personal data, we will apply the following principles that are in line with the requirements of the new European data protection regulation.
- Principle of lawfulness, fairness and transparency: We will always require your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes, which we will inform you about in advance in full transparency.
- Principle of data minimisation: We will only request data that is strictly necessary in relation to the purposes for which we require it.
- Principle of limitation of the storage period: The data will be kept in our database for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of the processing, depending on the purpose, we will inform you of the corresponding retention period in any case.
- Principle of integrity and confidentiality: Your data will be processed in such a way as to ensure adequate security of personal data and to guarantee confidentiality.
- You should be aware that we take all necessary precautions to prevent unauthorised access or misuse of our users’ data by third parties.
- How have we obtained your data?
The legal basis for the processing of your data is your free, specific, informed and unequivocal consent, for the purpose of executing the contract for the provision of veterinary services formalised by the acceptance of the quote or, where appropriate, the preparation of a prior quote.
Exceptionally, and always with prior consent, they could have been obtained by other means.

The personal data that we process, for the legitimate purposes explained in point 6, and depending on the services, may be,
– First and last names
– Postal address
– ID NUMBER
– Telephone number
– E-mail address
- For what purpose we process your personal data
We process your personal data for the primary purpose of providing you with the veterinary services requested.
We also process your personal data to manage all additional services related to veterinary care (analysis laboratories, incinerator, among others) and for accounting and fiscal management, in particular the invoicing of the services provided.
Likewise, provided that we have your prior consent for the management and development of marketing activities and the sending of commercial communications by electronic means.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following recipients for the reasons indicated,
– Public administrations: in order to comply with the legal obligations to which we are subject due to our activity.
– Analysis laboratories and similar: for the sole purpose of providing you with the contracted treatment.
– Health professionals, collaborators of the veterinary clinic: with the sole purpose of being able to carry out the contracted treatment. In any case, the data never leave the clinic.
– Tax and accounting management: for the sole purpose of managing our accounts (issuing invoices, filing tax returns, commercial obligations ….).
- International data transfers
Under no circumstances do we transfer your personal data to any person or entity outside the EEC.
- How long we keep your personal data
Personal identification data (name and surname, postal address, VAT number): the periods legally established by tax and commercial legislation.
- What are your rights?
Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning them.Data subjects have the right to

- Request its rectification or erasure.
- Request the restriction of their processing.
- Oppose the processing.
- Request data portability.
We have the corresponding forms at your disposal so that you can exercise your rights.

In certain circumstances, data subjects may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case it will only be kept for the exercise or defence of claims.

Data subjects also have the right to effective judicial protection and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in this case the Spanish Data Protection Agency, if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning them is in breach of the European Data Protection Regulation.
